At Avash Trust, social work lies at the heart of everything we do. Guided by our belief in compassion and human dignity, we work tirelessly to uplift underprivileged individuals and communities. Our initiatives focus on creating lasting change by addressing the social, emotional, and economic challenges faced by vulnerable groups.
On the occasion of National Youth Day (12 January 2026), AVASH Trust successfully organized a Winter Relief Programme across several locations in Purba Bardhaman district. The initiative focused on supporting homeless and vulnerable individuals by distributing blankets and warm winter clothing during the peak winter season.
The relief distribution was carried out at brick kiln areas and railway stations in Memari, Shaktigarh, Barsul, Bardhaman, and Guskara. Many daily wage workers, homeless individuals, and underprivileged families received much-needed winter essentials.
Inspired by the ideals and humanitarian philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, the programme aimed to extend warmth, dignity, and compassion to those affected by severe winter conditions. The initiative reflected the belief that service to humanity is the highest form of service.
The successful implementation of this programme was made possible through the generous support of donors, dedicated volunteers, and well-wishers who came forward with a shared commitment to social responsibility and community care.
AVASH Trust continues to remain committed to humanitarian service, striving to support vulnerable communities through meaningful social initiatives and welfare programmes.
